Medievalists will enjoy this blog by some chap who works on romance manuscripts (though beware, there is some crudity). It makes me look like I just haven’t tried hard enough when complaining about lazy abuses of the word ‘medieval’. He also has a great library bureaucracy story. I almost wish I needed to look at a manuscript in the BN, just so that I could have this story to tell for myself. (Yes, I’m VERY sad.)
