I hope there are sermons on Humanae Vitae and what the HF said in every parish this Sunday. Just online I’ve found so many people hugely upset by what they think he said. (And if he had said what the papers said he said, I would, despite my knowing fine well that this didn’t change the teaching of the church, be distraught to say the least, and want to be reassured by hearing the truth explained from the pulpit this Sunday.)

Berenike, Do you live in the real world? Are you rational? Will you always make excuses for an old man who finally tells the truth? Do you have a mind of your own?
Your religion is suffocating and weird. You are like a mental patient all bound up in this crap.I’ve no problem with Catholic people but you make fundamentalist Islamists look moderate.

Therese, are you going to come back and continue this discussion? (just checking, before replying to your comment)

It would perhaps also be good to clarify which ‘truth’ it is Therese believes the Holy Father has finally’ told?
