Off-topic, but do you think our ‘music group’ would shoot me if I left this in the organ loft? ;-p

No, but I don’t think you should encourage them in their weird brand of stiff-sounding music. Better take them to a Ukrainian GC parish where people sing a bit. Then buy them a couple of beers and a Shrek video and some funky sounds CDs. Maybe a medicinal joint or two – I’ve never tried it, but perhaps it would help them understand what chilling out is, and they could then apply this new knowledge in the wonderful world of worship music! 🙂

Oh, do you mean your parish or the Trid?

Mine. (Though I like to think of the Trid as mine-by-appropriation.)
Stiff-sounding? It’s a bit icky and Eagles-Wings-y.
I just wish we’d occasionally have some Latin, or something vaguely traditional (there are oodles of great old fashioned English hymsn to choose from), and the organ not just on Saturday nights.
Ah, anyway…

Ah I thought you were talking about the Trid.
Is it still the nice Jeff/Geoff that does it? Has he sacked some of the ine-year-old recorderplayers that play everything in G major?

Oh, don’t get me started. It’s nice…but bleugh!
