I feel a post about voluntarism and all sorts in Pious Literature coming on, but I expect I will never get round to writing it, so once more I recommend Servais Pinckaers’ Sources of Christian Ethics or the short version, Morality, A Catholic View.

Oh! And find a psalm that suits! For ages I used to recite a bit of, I think, ps 92. Currently, since summer, I think, 2006, I am a fan of ps 144, esp. the Douay version.

Septuagint or Masoretic counting?
I just rediscovered my great liking for Psalm 103 (Septuagint) during the Office of Reading at Pentecost. It even mentions grass! Maybe I shall compile a Top 10 List of Favourite Psalms to make up for the distressing one of Scary Reading.
And NOW: I will not have a single look at the blog before tonight as I shall WORK!
