Following a recent post of The-Blogger-Formerly-Known-As-Butch-Or-Mark-Brentano’s: you know how there’s always “Advertisement” written at the top of adverts that are made to look like articles in the paper? How about writing “Press Release” above all the stories that are basically press releases? In fact, you could just publish the press release as received, cutting out the expense of the (minimal) reworking. If journalists are stuck for news, they could always go and investigate what lies behind the press release.
